A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has launched a direct verbal attack on President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina.
Fani-Kayode described the presidential aide as betrayer of his people. He said the Buhari’s media aide was backing Fulanis to kill his own people.
Adesina had while speaking on the challenges the Federal Government was encountering securing lands for the establishment of ranches across the country had said, “Ancestral attachment? You can only have ancestral attachment when you are alive. If you are talking about ancestral attachment, if you are dead, how does the attachment matter?”
His comment has generated a lot of controversies among Nigerians.
Fani-Kayode, who had earlier interpreted the statement tweeted on Thursday night, “During the American civil war there were a few black slaves who fought on the side of the white secessionist southern forces in an attempt to defend, preserve and protect the institution of slavery. That is Femi Adesina for you.
“During the holocaust there were Jews in the Nazi concentration camps that assisted the Germans to put their fellow Jews in gas chambers. They even attempted to rationalse and defend the genocidal behaviour and barbaric actions of the Nazis. That is Femi Adesina for you.”
