Ochiagha Reagan Ufomba has revealed that Ndi Ngwa in Abia Central will not distort zoning arrangement. This was made known in a statement made available to Igbere TV.
The statement reads in full :
“Ndi Ngwa In Abia Central Will Not Distort Zoning Arrangement
NDI NGWA in Abia central, namely, Isiala Ngwa North, Isiala Ngwa South, and Osisioma, will not distort the existing zoning arrangement, or be in office for ‘one term’ when it is their turn to produce the Governor of the state”.
“The only sensible thing to do is to extensively continue in the support for their brothers in Abia South in the forthcoming 2019 governorship election in a “scratch my back, I scratch your back fashion”.
” It is therefore senseless, as it is factually, morally and strategically wrong for any aspirant to intentionally, willfully and by sheer naivety strive to demean, impugn, shortchange and cajole the headship of Ukwa/Ngwa ethnic group that has demonstrated so much capacity for leadership, unity, equity, peace, progress, economic and political evolution of the state with a “one term” agenda.
“We shall not tolerate that”.
“Going by the tenets of the zoning arrangement already in force, whereby former occupiers of the office of the governor had enjoyed uninterrupted eight year tenure, my personal experiences in 2011, and the agreement reached at “The Great Ukwa/Ngwa Declaration”, March, 2018, it remains the turn of Abia South to produce the governor in 2019″.
