2019: Forget 4th Term Agenda, Group Tells Onyejeocha, Endorses Ogah

A coalition under the aegis of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Liberation Movement (IULM) has warned the member representing the Constituency at the green chambers of the National Assembly, Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha against seeking a fourth term bid, saying this would amount to the breach of the principles of equity and justice that has long existed in the two local governments that make up the federal Constituency, adding that her twelve years in the House of Representatives has only brought a deficit to her people.

Speaking with Abia Breaking News on Tuesday, the convener of the Movement Dr. Kingsley Ezechukwu said “the long existing principles of fairness, equity and justice among the two local governments that make up this federal Constituency must not be jeopardized by Onyejeocha’s self-seeking third term bid.

It is enough that her twelve years at the National Assembly has not in any way impacted on the lives of the people but has rather left them worse than they were. There is absolutely nothing anywhere in this Constituency to show that we have a representative in Abuja. We thank her for serving her welfare and that of her family but we are saying enough is enough. It is time to give way for a more pragmatic, committed and trusted son of Isuikwuato to represent us. That is the way to go”.

The coalition also unilaterally endorsed Chief Amobi Ogah as their candidate for Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the 2019 general election, describing him as visionary and selfless. “We only have one candidate whom we have endorsed for this job. He is a young man we so much believe in. His name is Chief Amobi Godwin Ogah. He is not only visionary but selfless. Come 2019 he will be our representative by the grace of God” the group’s public relations officer Emmanuel Okwudiri told our correspondent.

Recall that Chief Amobi Ogah had during his public declaration on Sunday June 17 to represent Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency under the platform All Progressives Congress (APC) received a large crowd who came to show their support.
