This is pure wickedness, how can someone dupe a dumb and deaf man of One million Naira, well, the good thing is the arms of the law has caught up with the culprit.
A Magistrate court sitting in Iwo Road area of Ibadan, Oyo state capital has sentenced a civil servant at the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Surveying, Mrs Funmi Salako, to two-year imprisonment over a fraudulent deal with a deaf and dumb, Mr.Musibau Ilori.
The chief magistrate, Mr.Taiwo Oladiran however give her a N60,000 option of fine. Salako was first arraigned before the court on June 5, 2017 on a three-count charge of conspiracy, obtaining and stealing.
