Reno Omokri, ex-preaidential aide to former president, Goodluck Jonathan, has tactically told his principal’s predecessor, former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, that his frame-up allegation was the fruit of what he sowed.
Omokri also described the travails of Senate President Bukola Saraki and that of Senator Dino Melaye as what they fostered.
The trio were among leading opposition politicians who kicked against the re-election of Jonathan in the 2015 poll.
Raising his alarm on Friday, Mr Obasanjo claimed that incumbent president, Muhammadu Buhari was nursing a plan to frame him up and detain him behind bars indefinitely.
The former President, who backed Mr. Buhari’s election in 2015, but has since turned one of the fiercest critics of the administration and urged the president not to seek re-election in an open letter said the latest move by the Buhari-led federal government was because of his epistle to him.
In his latest statement, OBJ, as he is fondly called, also alleged that the government was making moves to re-open investigation into the activities of his administration using false witnesses and documents.
HEADLINE recalls that he had threw the challenge while reacting to a recent claim by Mr Buhari that he frittered away $16 billion on phoney electricity projects. Obasanjo while describing the president as ignorant challenged anybody who wish to set up another panel of enquiry to do so if unsatisfied with the report of two investigative panel that had exonerated him at that time.
However, Omokri making a biblical reference told the trio that they were reaping what they sowed having joined hands with the then opposition to oust his principal during the 2015 presidential election.
“First they accused @dino_melaye of murder then @BukolaSaraki of masterminding an armed robbery, I wonder which lie they‘ll bring up against Obj? Maybe that he is the sponsor of Evans the Kidnapper!
“When Galatians 6:7 says ‘a man reaps what he sows’ never doubt it.
“All those who though they were showing Jonathan by manipulating the public against him in 2015, are now reaping what they sowed. The ‘dog and the baboon’ they brought to kill Jonathan have now turned on them,” Omokri tweeted on his twitter handle.
