Last week, Players and officials of Nigeria’s senior national football team, Super Eagles, gathered at the presidential villa for a farewell meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari, ahead of their trip to Russia for the World Cup.
The team was led by NFF President, Amaju Pinnick as the president wished the three –time African champions well on their way to a sixth appearance at football’s biggest showpiece.
Now Nigerian online users have made mockery of the meeting with the president after Super Eagles captain Mikel Obi promised that the players will do their best at the tournament.
