Cristiano Ronaldo is celebrating his twins’ first birthdays just days before the World Cup. The Real Madrid star posted a picture of himself in his swimming pool with girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez, his son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, twins Eva and Mateo and baby daughter Alana Martina dos Santos Aveiro in the background.
Along with the heartwarming family photo, Ronaldo captioned: “My babies Eva and Mateo are celebrating their first birthday today! Congratulations, my dear children!”It is believed that the twins were born via a surrogate.
The twins were born at Sharp Grossmont Hospital in the Californian town of La Mesa, which lies just 20 miles from the Mexican border and is near San Diego. Eva was born first at 9.07am with her brother following a minute later, the newspaper reports.
Eva and Mateo’s birthdays fall just days before this summer’s World Cup. The Portugal captain will soon jet to Russia where he and his team-mates will attempt to follow up their Euro 2016 success.
