The good people of Item expressed their joy and happiness yesterday as Barrister Benjamin Kalu led his team to inspect the ongoing road construction in the community which was attracted by the effort of DR. Orji Uzor Kalu.
Igbere TV correspondent gathered that he was received by Item men and women. During the inspection of the project, the people of Item community appreciated Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu and Barrister Benjamin Kalu for their kind gesture as the road will soon be completed.
The people of okoko and okagwe Item also commended Dr Orji Uzor Kalu for attracting the project and pledged to reciprocate the magnanimity via their votes in the coming elections both for him and Barrister Benjamin Kalu.
The Chairman of the town union who spoke with our correspondent couldn’t hold his happiness and appreciation.
According to him, ” I want to thank Barrister Benjamin Kalu for this wonderful project. Since I was born, this road has not been constructed but he here we are today. I want to assure him that come 2019 election, our people will massively vote for him and Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu in order for them to continue their good works”
After the inspection, Barrister Benjamin Kalu stormed a radio station where he had 30 minutes on air interactive program and talked about his ambition to become a House of Reps member and the need for people to vote for Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu as a senator.
Also, Igbere TV correspondent followed Barrister Benjamin Kalu to his hometown where he received more than 400 PPA members.
He hosted both the old members of PPA who moved over to APC and the members of reality organisation, to energise them the more with a message of hope and to get them ready for the 2019 elections .
The party chairman of PPA Bende community spoke at the event.

“We are here today because we believe that Barrister Benjamin Kalu will represent us very well in House of Representatives come 2019. That is why we decided to pay him this official visit in order to endorse him fully as our candidate come 2019 ”
“Barrister Benjamin Kalu has never disappointed us and we know that he will continue to represent us very well”, he said
Barrister Benjamin Kalu on his own part, thanked them for the visit and equally advised them to make sure that they get their PVC’s before the election time as that will be their weapon to elect him into House of Representatives in 2019.
