Former governor of Abia State and an All Progressives Congress(APC) Chieftain, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu has said that Igbos should vote for Buhari in 2019 in order for them to get the presidency in 2023.
The former governor stated this during APC Caucus meeting held today in Abia state capital Umuahia. He also used the opportunity to call for peace in the party.
According to him,
” APC is a party that loves Ndigbo because this is the first time that 2nd Niger Bridge is being truly built in the history of this country. Other parties came and defrauded the Igbos by telling them that they will build the 2nd Niger Bridge for them without doing anything for them but today under Buhari, 2nd Niger Bridge is over 50% completed.
On Igbo Presidency, the former governor stated that the shortest way for an Igbo man to become the president of Nigeria is by voting for Buhari in 2019.

“The shortest way to Igbo Presidency in 2023 is by voting Buhari in 2019, I said the same under PDP and many of didn’t listen to me and we all saw what happened. Today, am saying it again. I want to also assure you all here that if you have not been appointed in various key positions, you should be patient because most of you joined the party recently and soon another list will be sent to Buhari for another appointments “.
