Ahead of 2019 general election, the Umunna Bende Youths Grassroot Forum has issued a strong warning to Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu not to impose any candidate of his choice on the masses.
They went on to state that the equity that was good for governor Okezie Ikpeazu and the Ngwa’s is good for the Ikwuishi Bende.
According to a statement made available to our correspondent by the the Secretary, Nelson Ojingwa, states…
”To continue enjoying the equitable distribution of power which made him(Okezie Ikpeazu) the governor of the State, he should avoid touching the equitable distribution of power in Bende Federal Constituency . We are from the Bende North and we have seen him parading candidates that are not from Bende South whose turn it is , equitably speaking. If he stops equity in Bende God will stop equity for him and the Ngwa Land because what is good for the goose is good for the gander”.
”Equity that was good for the NGWAS and Gov Ikpeazu is good for Bende South and Ikwuishi; touch our political equation and see what will happen”. the group vowed
