Former Governor of Abia State, Dr Orji Uzor Kalu (MON) has urged the people of Abia State to remain steadfast all through this Easter period as the resurrection of the lord Jesus Christ denotes positive hope and change that will better their lives.
In a statement signed by his media aide (South-East) Hon Maduka Okoro, Governor Orji Uzor Kalu promised to continue working hard in bringing hope to the hopeless through the Orji Uzor Kalu foundation which is presently giving out interest free loan to petty traders in the state.
The Foundation has in the past couple of months been giving out interest free loan to petty traders across Abia. The loan which is in line with the United Nations 2030 poverty eradication and development agenda, saw not less than 25 beneficiaries in each wards across the state.
The loan which has already covered Abia North zone, is expected to go round the state and nation at large.
