Benjamin Kalu Foundation has embarked on the training of Indigent students in the universities. Benjamin Kalu is a lawyer, business mogul and a philanthropist who has the interest of his people at heart.
In the last 14 years till date, the Foundation has raised 420 graduates, with 230 currently in their undergraduate studies and another 510 in secondary/primary schools. This year, over 330 Indigent students have been selected to receive payments for their various entrance and certificate exams across The Bende Federal Constituency.
According to Hon. Emma Eke the Projects and Program Director of the Benjamin Kalu Foundation, “ the Founder has paid for a big Center around Uzuakoli to be used as our skill acquisition Center to train young women and young men in some vocations that will make them both employable or self employed.
When our correspondent visited the Founder, Barr. Benjamin Kalu to reveal why he has been working without announcing it, he replied,
“ only what is done for God shall be rewarded and not what is on the pages of the paper. Allow people to think you are doing less when much is going on for the people who are directly affected for their testimonies and gratitude to God is what matters.
