Orji Uzor Kalu Celebrates Wife, Congratulates Nigerian Women On INT’L Women’s Day(Photos)

Business mogul and former governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, today, celebrated his wife and other Nigerian women as the world celebrates international women’s day.

In a press statement by his media aide, Kenneth Udeh, Kalu described women as extra ordinary being and people who should not be taking for granted because of the role they in our society.

According to him: “The role of the women in the society can never be underestimated from their roles in running the home up until their various careers the Nigerian woman is indeed an amazing being.

“I hereby challenge all women in the society to never to settle for less by taking up more roles in the society, to be an inspiration to one another I also appeal to government at all levels including leadership institutions to give special consideration to women in their leadership aspirations.

Meanwhile, In a bid to give back to the society and eradicate poverty in line with the United Nations 2030 poverty eradication agenda, Orji Kalu’s foundation, OUKF, is currently given out Interest Free Loans to petty traders across the state.

Recently, the OUKF team has given about two local governments in the Abia North remaining other LGA’s.
