The Presidency has reacted to report that President Muhammadu Buhari will be travelling to Washington DC on Monday.
Saharareporters had earlier reported that the President of the United States, US, Donald Trump had invited Buhari over.
Reacting to the report, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said that the news was circulated by a parody Twitter account, stressing that the report was untrue.
Also reacting to the report, Buhari’s
Personal Assistant on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, debunked the news via her twitter page.
“It’s not true that @NGRPresident@MBuhari is Set For a USA Trip tomorrow, Monday 4/9/2017. Pres Buhari always informs Nigerians of his trips,” she wrote.
