The traditional media is not reporting the worst situation in Ebonyi under Umahi. salary cut, payment of pension and gratuities are made only on state radio, while the concerned persons are called for
verification everyday and their payment made on Ebbc/TV by information commissioner, while they groan home after the daily verification used to buy time so as to have the money yield the expected interest in the bank.
Repair of road is done by brass company owned by the governor and his brothers. Brass oil petrol station with the lowest patronage in the state capital is excursively used for supply of gas and petrol to the govt.
300Million naira school feed meal project, made available to the state by FG, hijacked by Umahis, the wife fully in charge, school pupil are fed with akara or biscuit worth N50 per pupil. Recall that Umahi got bailout fund of N4.6biilion meant for only state that were owing salaries to workers, even when the state was not owing any dine to workers as former gov. cleared all outstanding before leaving office. The question is, what prompted Umahi to go for the bailout? could it be that he got the money to off set accumulated borrowing for his feisty guber campaign, as no signs or impact of the money was felt by workers, instead their salaries and allowances were cut further down.

Ebonyians may have forgotten that he used about N150miilion to purchase 4 jeeps to those he called past leaders in which two of the jeeps where rejected by Onu and Elechi. Ebonyians are aware that the on going renovation of the temporary stadium is not far from the Umahis. similar thing applies to many other renovations in the state.
Ebonyi people live in fear, criticize the govt and you will be choperized. we have heard the chopper group allegedly planning a mob action against Onu, and former governor Elechi. The group chopperized one journalist and seem to have gone scot free. The neighborhood watch recently inaugurated according to sources is not less than a grand plan designed to move around the state and squirt the umahi’s fear on Ebonyians, if resisted you will be made to dance the OKARA ANYI OBI DANCE.
The greatest challenge facing the people of the state now is that no body talks.and the frontal opposition of the govt of Umahi is the social media which he said sometime ago that he would ban if he has the power.
we cant continue like this. to allow one man to hold a state of about 2million people hostage is unprecedented. let us rise and say no to the institutionalized tyranny. Ebonyi is our state.
Also the governor wants to borrow $150m Islamic Loan which many Ebonyians are against. According to an ebonyian who does not want his name to be mentioned revealed to Igbere TV that Umahi wants to use the loan for 2019 election campaign. Igbere TV learnt also that the House of Assembly partnering with Umahi to get $150m loan sat today and approved it for him!
