The #ResumeOrResign protesters held a sit-out in Lagos today. They demanded that president Muhammadu Buhari should resume or resign after spending 100 days abroad on medical vacation.
Although earlier today, the leader of the protest, Charlyboy announced a suspension of activities due to death threats being received by members of the group, the protesters successfully had their sit-out at the Gani Fawehinmi square, Ojota, Lagos.
On Tuesday, Charlyboy and his protesters narrowly escaped death in Wuse market, Abuja after a band of hoodlums believed to be pro-Buhari supporters attacked them with stones and sharp objects. Charlyboy’s Mercedes car was seriously vandalized during the unrest.
