The leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu today, declared that the capital of the proposed Biafra republic will be in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
This was made known through one of the traditional rulers who addressed the crowd as Kanu stormed Obigbo, in Rivers State.
One of the traditional rulers quoted Kanu as saying that “It’s misleading what people are saying that Rivers State is not part of Biafra, and that Igbos wants to Include Rivers people to Biafra because of their Oil.
According to him, “Mazi Kanu has assured us that (Rivers State) our oil will belong to us, anybody saying that Rivers State is not part of Biafra is a Judas, and that person will be treated like Judas in the Bible.”
He further stated that Kanu has assured them that Biafra capital will be located in Rivers State.
