A highly placed source in the Presidency, in an exclusive chat with Post-Nigeria, has alleged that the Information Minister, Lai Mohammed, has been banned from travelling to the United Kingdom, UK, to visit ailing President, Muhammadu Buhari.
Recall, that Buhari for more than 70 days now, has been in the UK for medical treatment, over an undisclosed illness.
The source alleged that Lai Mohammed had been making frantic efforts to visit the ailing President, in his capacity as the mouthpiece of the government, but his requests have been severally turned down by Buhari’s handlers.
On why his request was not approved, the source said: “Lai Mohammed cannot be trusted with sensitive information I presumed. if you notice, his utterances always over heat the polity, because Nigerians no longer believe in him.”
The Source added: ”If you also notice, the Minister for some time now, has not be commenting on issues that bothers on Buhari’s health. He doesn’t have first hand information on the state of the President’s health.
All efforts made by Post-Nigeria to get in touch with the Minister’s Aide to react to the allegation, proved abortive.
Post-Nigeria could recall, that former Aviation Minister, Fani-Kayode, had once described Lai Mohammed, as an unrepentant liar.
