Over 200 repentant cultists, militants, and prostitutes who embraced Christ through empowerment and intervention programs received water baptism after undergoing baptismal classes at Omega Power Ministries in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Speaking to newsmen shortly after the deliverance and baptism, the General Overseer of OPM, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, said that though the financial involvement in the upkeep and maintenance of the new converts are quite enormous, especially the provision of free feeding, accommodations, skill acquisition, and setting up businesses, he can not in anyway compare the cost to the salvation of the lost souls to God in heaven.
“This is what God is expecting from us,” he stated.
