Going by the current happenings in anambra State over the recent threat by the leader of the Indigenous people of biafra, mazi Nnamdi kanu that there will be no election in anambra state Come nov. 2017 if the Nigerian government refuses to give a date for Biafra referendum, Tension has continue to highthen up among The political class in anambra and igbo land in General, many political and cultural group in Anambra have contradicted the stand of the Biafran Nationalist leader, popular among this Class of people is the All progressive Grand Alliance APGA, which is the ruling party in Anambra state, and also the apex igbo social Cultural organizations the OHANEZE NDIGBO among others, in view of this development, any clear headed observer will attest to the qualities of Nnamdi kanu, as a tested and trusted leader whose solemn aim is to emmancipate the people of biafra from perpetual slavery, infact, kanu is a man whose Clarity of perspective first identified the Incongruity of the present igbo situation in the Political structure of Nigeria , that ndigbo have Continue to be marginalized in Nigeria, by past And present administration’s.
Therefore Kanu’s call for boycotting anambra election is totally supported, in order to fast track biafra Referendum.
By this act of civil disobedience, the Nigerian Government must be made to understand that Self determination is the inalienable right of Indigenous peoples, of which biafra is Included.
However, as partiots we must continue to welcome any opposing views from any angle hence we remain comitted to our struggle.
Therefore it is demeaning to denigrate or Underate our belove igbo leader chief John Nnia Nwodo, the president General of Ohaneze Ndigbo, who has distinguished himself as a Selfless leader. Ohaneze may not always agree with us, because he is entitled to his opinion, it Is our collective responsibility as patriots to make them see the reasons, for our Actions Ohaneze must be appreciated and equally commended for his total commitment in Canvassing for the betterment of ndigbo and for standing in defence of our struggle in the Midst of glaring opposition.
