A little Nursery school pupil, Guo Jintong, has suffocated to death, after her Teacher allegedly taped her mouth shut, because she was talking too much during a classroom morning exercise.
The incident reportedly happened at the Huadian Experimental Kindergarten, in North-Eastern China’s Jilin Province.
The six-year-old Jintong, was pronounced dead by paramedics, who arrived about 30 minutes after she had already been reported unconscious.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, a witness said she was “too chatty”, as her class did stretches and aerobic exercises in the morning, so her Teacher allegedly sealed her mouth shut.
The witness stating further, claimed that a tape and possibly even glue, was used to seal her shut, and she was “smothered” to death in a few short minutes.
Realising the girl appeared “abnormal”, her Teacher brought her to the school Nurse, who called immediately for an ambulance.
The little girl was taken to the Hospital, but Doctors said they were “unable to bring her back”.
The nursery school has yet to release a statement about the incident, but government officials in the country, have confirmed the case, and said they are investigating with the Local Police.
