Below is the scene where a mentally challenged woman delivered a healthy baby boy in Delta state yesterday Sunday the 4th of June 2017.
The woman who delivered the baby on the popular Okpanam road in Asaba yesterday was said to have been impregnated by ritualists who were mandated by juju priests to sleep with a mad woman.
Others at the scene said it was night crawlers and drunks who slept with her in the dark of the night.
She was assisted by women until her placenta came out and the baby was taken to a nearby motherless baby home.
Before our correspondent left the scene yesterday, one of the sympathizers called Women Affairs Commissioner Rev Omotshola Williams but no one was available to pick her calls.
