On Thursday, April 20, 2017, at around 8 am, Pastor Nicholus Kibagendi, received a call from an unidentified person. He received the
call and walked towards the tarmac as he talked to the person. NAIJ.com gathered that, that was be the last time his wife, Jennifer, their children and his congregation saw see him.
Jennifer waited for her husband to return home to no avail. She reported the matter to the nearest police station in Kijauri area and a search for the man of the clothe who works as a steward at the Nyamira Conference Headquarters Office commenced.

Word was circulated on social media for anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kibagendi to report to the nearest police station. Efforts to established who called the pastor haven’t yielded fruit. Close to a month later, Thursday, May 18, Pastor Kibagendi’s body was found decomposing in a bush 200 metres from his home.

His wife confirmed that indeed the decomposing body was that of her husband.
Police took away the body
Police arrived and took away the remains of the pastor as investigations continue.
