Chelsea Captain John Terry has Super Eagles skipper and former team-mate John Obi Mikel as the ‘Lazy One’.
Both players have known each other since the Nigerian international arrived Stamford Bridge from Norway in 2006, eight years after Terry broke into the Blues’ first team from the ranks. Both men have enjoyed.
Terry who is unarguably Chelsea’s most successful captain having led Mikel and company to four Premier League titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups and one UEFA Champions League title since 2004 believes no member of the Chelsea squad is as lazy as the Nigerian talking about his team-mates in an interview.
“No one’s the lazy one but Obi Mikel sleeps everywhere we go on the coach. It could be a five minute journey and you look round and he’s asleep. He sleeps everywhere!” Terry stated.
Terry also had remarks about other Chelsea players, he said Diego Costa is the team’s joker while he labelled January signing Pato an angel.
“The joker of the team would be Diego Costa. Very funny guy.
“The angel would be Pato – he’s an angel! Willian would be Mr. Cool. He likes his clothes and his fashion. Branislav [Ivanovic] is the strongest.
”Gaz Cahill and Loic Remy [are the scaredy cats], but they keep threatening to get me back [for pranking them] so that could be me in a few weeks!”
“Willlian has been our best player, Kurt Zouma was doing well up until his injury but Willian has been the standout player for us, this year.
