The president’s personal assistant on social media, has taken to his Twitter account to reveal that President Muhammadu Buhari is currently attending Juma’at service at the presidential villa mosque in Aso Rock.
“President Muhammadu Buhari observes Juma’at Prayer at the State House, Abuja,” he wrote in a Tweet.
“President Muhammadu Buhari discussing with NSA Babagana Munguno immediately after observing Juma’at Prayer at the Presidential Villa, Abuja,” he captioned a video showing the president making his way to the mosque with officials.
Recall that in the past few days, there has been uncertainty over the health of the president. He was absent from three consecutive meetings of the federal executive council (FEC), and his absence caused rumours to ripple that he was gravely ill.
But on Tuesday, Aisha, the president’s wife, said her husband was not as ill as being perceived, adding that the president had taken briefs from some officials of the government on the day.
