We Weren't Consulted Before CSO Expelled The PUNCH Reporter" - Presidency

President Buhari’s special adviser, Femi Adesina has addressed the issue of PUNCH’s State House Correspondent, Olalekan Adetayo’s expulsion from the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Adesina, in a tweet on Monday, said the CSO made the decision by himself without consulting the media office.

He stated that President Buhari is committed to Press freedom, adding that the issue would be resolved.

He tweeted “We weren’t consulted in the media office by the CSO before he expelled The Punch reporter. President Buhari is committed to press freedom”.

“An amicable solution would be found to The Punch reporter matter. President Buhari does not intend to muzzle the media in any way” he added.
