The man who was caught yesterday with his mum’s head, has made a shocking revelation, on why he killed his 83-year-old mother, Maria Odihiri, in Uzzeba, Owan West LGA of Edo State.
According to the 36-year-old man, Segun Odihiri, he committed the said crime because his mother alerted the public while he was trying to rape his own daughter.

A witness, Mr Ekemeiren Ojekhugbo, alleged that his mother started screaming when she caught Segun in the act.
“For him to cover his shame, he picked up a cutlass and cut off his mother’s head while the daughter ran for safety.”
It was gathered that Segun who hid the body of his mother earlier, was caught while attempting to dispose of it. DailyTrust reports that it was also alleged that he always threatened to kill her any time they had a misunderstanding. He was later taken to the Owan West Divisional Police Command in Sabongidda Ora.
