Wonderful, Igbo Lady Drives Tricycle( KEKE NAPEP) As A Profession, ( NDIGBO IS GREAT)

A lady identified as Obianujunwa but popularly known as Uju, has become a role model to most women in Akwa, Anambra state, as she was labeled the only woman driving a tricycle (Keke Napep). It was  gathered that, a man identified as Ogazi Ejesieme took to his Facebook handle to reveal surprising details about her. He also revealed in his post that, he happened to be a passenger she picked up along the way.

He posted several pictures of the woman with the caption: “Her name is #Obianujunwa or #Uju for short. I met this beautiful damsel today as I alighted from my car to enter Fidelity bank along Zik’s avenue Awka. Immediately I noticed her and as God may have it, she was stopping her passenger and I used that opportunity to move closer to her. She told me she was from Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra state. A very young promising young lady. She wasn’t harsh towards me, rather she answered all my questions with smiles and tenderness. She told me she was the only female KEKE driver presently at Awka. When asked if she was not feeling shy for engaging in such business viewed by many as a masculine business, she smiled and told me that she was enjoying her job and never felt dwarfed or difference from her male folks. She also revealed to me that her male colleagues respects, encourages and gives her first class treatment. When I got home, i “digged” to find out more about her. I was informed by people that Uju’s elder sister bought the Keke for their younger brother. But when the brother started acting funny and feeling too big and shy to ride the keke, Uju grabbed the opportunity and went to learn the keke, got registered with the union and the rest was history. Infact, I am so happy for this wonderful girl if not for anything, for eschewing and jettisoning all forms of vices including prostitution, begging etc., and decided not to allow the opportunity pass her by. Before I allowed Uju continue with her business today, I told her how proud I was about her and I promised her that I would use her as a reference point anywhere I would find myself as a motivational speaker. Finally, I bade her goodbye and wished her all the best in her chosen career. Moral of the whole things are; THERE IS NO FOOD FOR A LAZY MAN/WOMAN. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF FROM TODAY AND SHOUT, YES!!! “I CAN”. DON’T ALLOW PRIDE OR SHYNESS TO MAKE YOUR GOD-GIVEN TALENT OR DESTINY TO ELUDE YOU. WHAT A MAN CAN DO, A WOMAN CAN DO EVEN BETTER. NO TIME IS LATE, YOU CAN START NOW AND VICTORY SHALL BE YOURS. Like and share to encourage and promote Ujunwa. Darlington Okikiola Ejesieme writes from Awka.”
