Southern Kaduna: Killings senseless, inhuman- Bishop Wale Oke

Deputy President, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Bishop Wole Oke, has described the bloody attacks in Southern Kaduna as senseless, inhuman and uncalled for.

He said the leadership of the fellowship visited the area to commiserate with the people.

He further disclosed that they donated relief materials worth over N15million to communities affected by the recent attacks.

The communities that benefited from the gesture included: ungwuan Fari, Goska, Dangoma, Godogodo and Attakar in Jema’a and Kaura local government areas.

Presenting the materials to beneficiaries Friday on behalf of PFN President, Reverend Felix Omubede said the aim of the visit was to commiserate and sympathise with the people over the losses they suffered to the attacks.

He appealed to relevant stakeholders not to relent in their bid to restore absolute peace to the troubled communities.

He declared that, “The killing is senseless and inhuman. We urge government not to rest in its pursuit to bring perpetrators of the dastardly acts to book.

“It is the duty of any responsible government to protect the lives and property of its citizens across the country especially in Southern Kaduna.”

In their various responses, the traditional rulers expressed their happiness over the love showered on them by the PFN.

The Tum Nikyob, Kaninkon Chiefdom, Mallam Tanko Tete, applauded PFN for its continuous prayers for Southern Kaduna.
