Two men identified as Moneymaker Ndamuka and Tichaona Jakata, who are teachers at Bhegedhe Secondary School, have been labelled as ‘Casanovas’ in their community and are now facing punishment.
Villagers in Bhegedhe, Buhera, a town in Zimbabwe, have expressed their dismay over two teachers who they accuse of being in the habit of bedding married women in their community.
According to H-Metro, the two have since appeared before Chief Chamutsa accused of bedding two married women Susan Budzi and Anna Mudzimu.
The matter was deferred to tomorrow but Tichaona has since confirmed to have slept with Susan.
However, Moneymaker is still denying the accusations. Some villagers now want the teachers banished.
A source said Tichaona and Moneymaker have destroyed many marriages by using money to lure married women.
“We don’t feel safe living with immoral people like these men, they have wrecked many marriages and it is better for them to find somewhere else to stay.
“It is not only good for us as a community but even for them so that they may transform their characters in a new environment.
“They are teachers and they earn more money than most people in our community so they are in the habit of flashing money to our wives as well as our young daughters luring them.
“The latest incident that has made them appear before the chief is just one of the many adultery cases that they have committed in our neighbourhood.
“We have also consulted their school headmaster to have them transferred from our community because there are also allegations that they were dating school children,” he said.
Contacted for comment, Moneymaker and Tichaona said they are living in fear of their residents who want them banished from their community.
“Some of the things they are accusing us is true but most of it is being exaggerated.
“Some of the women whom we are accused of having adulterous affairs with are just people we talk to.
- “We have explained everything that happened to the Chief and we now wait to hear the outcome of the matter,” they said.
