Just In!! Implement 2014 conference report, restructure Nigeria – Gbaramatu monarch tells Buhari

The Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom, HRM Oboro Gbaraun Agadagba Aketekpe Wednesday urged President Muhammadu Buhari to implement the 2014 national conference report and restructure Nigeria to end the problems plaguing the country.

The traditional ruler made the call during his first year coronation anniversary held at Oporoza, Headquarters of Gbaramatu in Warri South-West Area of Delta State.

Aketekpe stated that restructuring was the only solution to the problems facing the nation.

“May I inform Mr. President that the ultimate solution to the plethora of problems facing this nation is restructuring of the country.

“This will enable the various zones and regions to judiciously harness the numerous resources God has blessed the entire nation with.

“I want to thank God for the life of our President who just returned from a medical vacation. It is our prayers that God will continue to see him through.

“I wish to commend also the President for sending Vice President Yemi Osinbanjo to the Niger Delta region to engage the people on peace and security.

“We are faced with many problems in the region as contained in the various addresses presented to him during the visits”, he said.

Aketekpe also urged the government not to celebrate yet but to give attention to the numerous problems of the Niger Delta.
