Lagos Pastor Who Stole Laptops During Seminar, Arrested During Church Fellowship.

Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command, arrested a 47-year-old Pastor, Ikemefuna Aje, who allegedly steals during a seminar organised for internet brand managers at a hotel in GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.

The Pastor dressed corporately, was caught on CCTV committing the said crime, stealing 5 MacBooks, one HP computer and some assorted personal effects, which he immediately took down to Computer Village in Lagos, and sold to one Saliu Ibraheem for N1, 110, 000, who he’s been friends with for 7 years.

 

Pastor Ikemefuna who stole those gadgets when the seminar’s participants were having lunch in the hotel, was traced to #5 Tony Street, Ejigbo, Lagos where he was hosting about 34 other church members in an house-fellowship.

 

After his arrest, he led the security operatives to his house, where a car a 4Runner Toyota, a master key, Zinox laptop, several computer bags, computer and tablet accessories as well as seminar materials and a sum of N700, 000, were recovered.

 

When asked how he got to know about the seminar which wasn’t advertized on national dailies or in any media house, Ikemefuna disclosed that he had people who furnish him with information on conferences and seminars. He further said that the seminar was one of the many others where he had gate crashed.
