The National Chairman of Prayer Squad of Peoples Democratic Party (PSPDP), Pastor Joshua G. Dikeogu, has revealed that the Peoples Democratic Party is under a strong curse which has resulted in the lingering leadership crisis in the party.
Dikeogu said the party was cursed by its former National Chairman of the party, Chief Barnabas Gemade, due to the way he was forcefully disgraced out of the office during the tenure of the former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.
The leader of the Anambra-based group, has declared 21 days fasting and prayers for God’s intervention in lingering leadership crisis rocking the party in the recent time.
According to Daily Sun, further revealed on Monday that the spirit of God told him to declare 21 days fasting and prayers to break the curse placed on the party and to destroy the demons that wrecked havoc in the party.
The prayer session was billed to start March 15 and end on April 5, 2017.
According to Dikeogu, “PDP is under a curse by former National Chairman Chief Barnabas Gemade who was forcefully disgraced out of office as the Chairman during Obasanjo’s tenure.
Then out of anger he pronounced a dangerous curse that to befall any subsequent Chairman of the party which has been tormenting the party since then”.
“That is the power of curse in action and to worsen the matter, check among all these National Chairman nobody have ever challenged the authority of party to be removed except Senator Ali Modu Sheriff”.
“Based on this I’m pleading with the Deputy Senate Chief Ike Ekweremadu, former President Goodluck Jonathan, governor of Ekiti state Mr. Ayodele Fayose, BOT Chairman of the party and other stakeholders to invite Chief Gemade and plead with him to cancel the curses and forgive and forget,” pastor Dikeogu stated.
“Then after this, we will bring a comprehensive prayer for the party which we shall pray for 22 days. It will be compiled in booklet and DVD which every member of PDP faithful must surely get the copy to pray along with us (Christians and Muslims)”.
“After all these, we shall apply dangerous strategies on how we shall win Anambra governorship election and reclaim our stolen mandate in Edo, Ondo, including Senatorial seats in some states from illegal occupants.
Believe me no power on earth will stop us in 2019 general election, because the God of heaven and earth is with us” Dikeogu declared.
