Why We Will Support Buhari’s Govt – Niger Delta Ex-Militants Reveals.

Former militants under the aegis of Niger Delta ex-Agitators, have expressed support for the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government, stressing that they are ready to give peace a chance.

Speaking at a meeting in Ughelli, Delta State on Friday, leader of the group, Israel Akpodoro said Buhari has made sterling progress in the nation, adding that the current government has helped to recover the nation from financial rot.

Akpodoro said: “The youths of the region have accepted to support President Buhari led All Progressives Congress administration and are ready more than ever before to give peace a chance and with this development we shall be experiencing a stronger economy in terms of trade in oil and gas.”

The leader of the Coalition frowned at some Nigerians who wished the President dead while he was away.

Akpodoro said Buhari’s return after spending over 50 days in London as a result of health issues has put those wishing him dead to shame.

The Delta born former militant leader said the youth of Niger Delta wish the President good health.

“We are grateful to God that after all the evil wishes of the enemies of Nigeria state as it concerns the president’s health he has returned to the country hale and hearty.

“Nothing justifies the goodness of God more in human life than what He has done for our nation in the president’s health,” Akpodoro said.
