A prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party in Kogi State, Alhaji Abdulrahman Mohammed, was arrested and detained on Friday in the Kogi State Government House, Punch reports.
Mohammed was reportedly detained by CSP Mohammed Sani Mohammed, Commanding Officer 37 Mopol Lokoja, because he criticised Governor Yahaya Bello.
Human Rights Activist and Legal Practitioner, Mr. Femi Falana (SAN), said the man is still being detained and he has reported the matter to the relevant police authorities.
