Breaking!! Sultan declares prayer for Buhari, Southern Kaduna

Sultan of Sokoto and President-General Jama’atu Nasirl Islam (JNI), Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, on Wednesday declared prayer session for

the quick recovery of President Muhammadu Buhari and an end to Southern Kaduna crisis.

Sultan also ordered the National Headquarters of JNI and Council of Imams and Ulamas, Kaduna state Branch to lead the prayer session on Sunday.

Addressing a joint news conference at JNI headquarters, Kaduna, JNI Secretary-General, and state chairman of Council of Imam’s and Ulamas, Dr, Khalid Aliyu Abubakar and Sheikh Baban Tune, said JNI Vice President-General, and Emir of Zazzau, Dr. Shehu Idris; Governor Nasir El-Rufai, Speaker Kaduna State House of Assembly, organisations, security agencies Islamic scholars will be in attendance.

They prayers would be offered on the Southern Kaduna crisis and the ill health of President Muhammadu Buhari.

“It is a religious duty for us to work together in order to seek Allah’s intervention to relieve us of these trial moments.

“Preparation is in top gear and come Sunday, March 5th, 2017 the prayer session will hold in Kaduna and we pray that it brings the state out of this quagmire bedeviling the country and may He grant our president good health to come back and continue steering the leadership of the country.

“May Allah relieve the state of this cancer of violent conflicts in Southern Kaduna and bring relief in the North East and other parts of the country where we have such skirmishes”, the clerics added.
