Annkio Briggs: Why Ijaw People Must Reject Gov. Dickson’s Fulani Herdsmen Base [MUST READ]

I, As an Ijaw daughter and for the sake of our people that have died for the rights of Ijaw people, youths and women, for their sacrifices, for the suffering, humiliation, and neglect Ijaws have endured so far in Nigeria, l have promised myself that l will do whatever needs to be done.

l pray with Ijaw people to get Governor Dickson to reverse this donation of our children and their future to people whose aim is to impose their religion on Christians, and take other people’s land by force, murdering, burning and destroying communities.

It is amazing that when Governor Dickson should be protecting our people, he is rather exposing Ijaw people to the worst danger available in Nigeria. Ijaw nation will not allow any Ijaw son or daughter to sell Ijaw nation for their political interest and failures.

Governor Dickson should not be allowed to sell Ijaw nation because of his political ambitions. 1,200 Hectares of Bayelsa state is 1,200 Hectares of Ijaw nation.

I call on the community leaders, the owners of the land, Ijaw sons and daughters in the Niger Delta, across Nigeria, also Home and Abroad to reject the selling of Ijaw nation.

The 1,200 hectares is not Governor Dickson’s personal piece of land. That 1,200 Hectares once IDENTIFIED SHOULD BE OCCUPIED by IJAW NATION, NOT FULANI HERDSMEN.

Governor Dickson should not be allowed to forget that he won his 2nd tenure elections in Bayelsa state because and only because Ijaw people had no desire to give even an inch of Bayelsa to the APC as lead by haters and enemies of Ijaw people.

#IjawLandIsNotFulaniLand IJAW RED BOOTS ARE ON AND WE ARE MARCHING.
