Governor Nasir El Rufai was today, 2nd of February, 2017 at the police headquarters in Abuja with the Inspector General of Police, Idris Ibrahim for a security meeting during which the progress of security operatives in quelling the Southern Kaduna crisis was discussed.
17 suspects were paraded for culpable homicide and disturbance of public peace in Southern Kaduna where the Christian Association of Nigeria claims 800 Christian folks have been killed by suspect Fulani herdsmen.
“At the @PoliceNG HQ now, 17 Suspects are being Paraded for Culpable Homicide and disturbance of Public Peace in Southern Kaduna” El Rufai tweeted as he shared the pictures of the culprits with their massive local arsenal showcased.
The tribe of the arrested men is currently unknown but media reports have it that the seeming pogrom has been orchestrated by armed Fulani herdsmen on a reprisal note for a crisis that took place in the year 2011.
