General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman, was on Monday night freed after being interrogated by the
Department of State Services for about three hours. According to DAILY POST, Some serving governors and other prominent personalities accompanied him to the DSS office.
Suleman was invited by the Department of State Services based on his recent alleged inciting comments that Christians should defend themselves against attacks by Fulani herdsmen.
A source said Suleiman wrote a statement after which he was allowed to leave. He was released by the DSS at about 10.48pm. His Communications Adviser, Phrank Shaibu, confirmed Suleman’s freedom Monday night.
“Apostle Suleman has been allowed to go. The DSS exhibited high level of maturity, competence and professionalism.”, he stated. But on his Facebook page, he simply wrote: “Jesus is Lord.”
