The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released an interim report for the on-going Rivers re-run legislative elections.
According to the electoral commission, actual voting has ended in most polling units.

However, INEC disclosed that there were reports of dynamite explosions in Akuku-Toru LGA as some of its officials were attacked in Khana local government.
The commission also disclosed that its officials were prevented from conducting the election in Tai state constituency but assure of releasing the results of the poll which would be acceptable to stakeholders.
