Contrary to the previous report that had it that the DMW boss Davido has been cleared of all charges regarding the
late Tagbo Umeike’s death, the police commissioner says Davido is still caught in the web and has to explain why he had to lie about not knowing about the deceased’s death and how his body was dumped in the hospital by his crew.
The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Imohinmi Edgal, had duplicated the outcome of his investigation and sent to DPP for advice.
The DPP have now sent their advice, asking that more investigations should be carried out on the matter to determine the involvement of the whole suspects on the matter which he said the police was still working on.
New investigations will center on why Davido had to deny that he did not know who took the deceased to the Island General Hospital and dumped him there. OBO must explain why he denied not knowing who took Tagbo to the there.
As revealed by the CCTV footage in the hospital, the vehicle that took Tagbo to the hospital is the same vehicle that was traced to Davido’s house at Lekki Phase one. His security details even went alongside. Davido must explain this!
