The presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement and Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde has appointed former Minister of State for Aviation, Felix Hassan Hyat, as Director-General of the National Campaign Management Committee of the Makinde/Daura Presidential Campaign Organisation.
A statement by Anthony Ehilebo, Special Adviser on Media and Digital Communication to Makinde/Daura Presidential Campaign organizations comes as political parties intensify preparations for the 2027 presidential election.
The statement further says Hyat, a former Kaduna State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party is expected to lead the APM presidential campaign in taking its “Reset Nigeria” message across the country and mobilising support for the party’s presidential ticket.
Also appointed are former Minister of Women Affairs, Hajia Inna Ciroma, as Deputy Director-General, Administration, and Dr Anthony Aziegbemi as Deputy Director-General, Operations.
The statement notes that the campaign leadership would work with APM National Leader and Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, and National Chairman, Yusuf Mamman Dantalle, among other party leaders.
The campaign has also appointed 12 directors and a deputy director to oversee various areas of its operations.
