The Federal High Court, Abuja, has revoked the bail granted to the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, Omoyele Sowore and issued a warrant for his arrest.
This follows his failure to appear in court over cybercrime charges against him by the Department of State Services DSS for calling President Bola Tinubu “a criminal” in his social media post.
Sowore took over his defence on the last adjourned date, saying his lawyers were afraid to represent him before Justice Mohammed Umar.
Sowore is seeking the reassignment of the case to a different judge, accusing Justice Umar of bias and asking him to recuse himself from the trial.
