The Honourable Minister of Works, Senator Engr. David Umahi, CON, has congratulated the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation, Rt. Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar, representing Bichi Federal Constituency, on his success in the recently concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election in Kano State.
This was made known by Francis Nwaze , FIPMD, Senior Special Assistant to the Honourable Minister of Works (Media).
He stated that the success is a show of love and presents another opportunity for Rt. Hon. Abubakar to continue collaborating with the National Assembly and the President in advancing policies and projects aimed at national development and economic growth.
Speaking further, Senator Umahi said, “The massive turnout witnessed during his recent outing is clear evidence of the support and confidence the people of Kano State have continued to show for Mr. President, His Excellency Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR; the Governor of Kano State, His Excellency Abba Kabir Yusuf; the Deputy President of the Senate, His Excellency Senator Jibrin Barau; Rt. Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar; the former Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, CON; and indeed the good people of Kano State.”
He reaffirmed that the Renewed Hope remains a strong pillar and beacon of hope for national transformation and sustainable development across the country.
