Gifted Point Restaurant on February 14 stepped beyond the usual Valentine’s Day celebration to host an outreach that shared love in practical, meaningful ways.
The outreach, which was held for the less privileged at St Theresa Catholic Church, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, and sponsored by Eagles Throne, owned by Don Goodluck, popularly known as the “Financial Apostle,” was designed not just as a charity event but as an avenue to make people truly feel valued and remembered.

Speaking during the event, the organisers said their goal was clear: “We wanted something more than a usual outreach. Something that is not only about giving to the people but letting them know that they are loved.”
The initiative, which attracted members of the community, featured free medical check-ups handled by professionals, hair styling and barbing sessions, as well as dance activities that brought smiles to many faces. It was a lively atmosphere, with participants seen dancing and celebrating together in a video shared with our correspondent.
Beyond the entertainment and health services, various items were distributed to attendees, including clothes, Pampers, tissues, and other essential materials. According to the organisers, the gesture was part of their broader vision of “sharing love beyond outreach” and creating an experience where people could feel love not just from individuals, but from the larger society around them.

They also acknowledged the support of other sponsors, including LP Consultant, whose contributions helped make the programme a success.

While expressing gratitude to all partners and volunteers, the organisers appealed for increased sponsorship in future editions. They noted that additional support would enable them to expand the scope of the outreach and reach more people in need.

For many who attended, the event was more than a Valentine’s celebration, it was a reminder that love can be expressed through simple acts of care, service, and togetherness.
