Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has announced her intention to take legal action against Pastor Chris Okafor, alleging that he reneged on a promise to marry her and instead married another woman.
Ogala made the claim during a recent live discussion with media personality Daddy Freeze, where she spoke at length about her past relationship with the clergyman and the circumstances surrounding their fallout. According to the actress, the alleged promise of marriage formed the basis of her decision to pursue legal redress.

During the exchange, Ogala also addressed questions raised by Daddy Freeze regarding her conduct while she was still married to her former husband. She admitted to engaging in phone-based intimacy with Pastor Okafor during that period, describing it as an act she is not proud of. “Was I ch+ating on my husband through phone intimacy? Yes, I did,” she said, while insisting that there was no physical relationship between them at the time.
When asked if she had evidence to support her allegations, Ogala stated that she possessed chat records and screen recordings, including a video she said showed the date and the recipient’s phone number. Daddy Freeze cautioned her against making such materials public, warning that doing so could result in legal consequences related to privacy violations.
Despite the caution, Ogala maintained that she was undeterred, stating that she had already instructed her lawyer to pursue the matter. She alleged that Pastor Okafor’s decision to marry another woman after making promises to her constituted grounds for legal action, adding that she was prepared to present evidence in court.
As of the time of filing this report, Pastor Chris Okafor has not publicly responded to the allegations.
