“God will Punish You now and Forever”— Nnamdi Kanu tells Lawyer after Judge sent him out of Court

The Federal High Court in Abuja witnessed tense moments on Thursday as IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu lashed out at some lawyers after his hearing. While being escorted out by DSS operatives, Kanu turned to the lawyers and declared, “God will p¥nish you now and forever,” causing murmurs across the courtroom.

Kanu, visibly angry throughout the session, also condemned Nigeria’s judicial process. “Any judgement day in this country is rubbish,” he said sharply as the judge stepped out. During the hearing, he openly challenged Justice James Omotosho, questioning the legal basis of the court’s decisions and demanding the written law guiding the charges against him. “Where is the law?” he asked. “Show me where the written law is.”

Court observers noted that Kanu complained that his rights were being ignored and accused some lawyers of collaborating with the government to “suppress the truth.” He insisted the court was not following due process and that anyone supporting injustice would face consequences.

As DSS operatives led him out, he repeated his warning to the lawyers, maintaining that they would answer before God for their actions, while his supporters watched silently from the gallery.
