Ebonyi State Command has arrested four suspected kidnappers and recovered five vehicles.
A statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Joshua Ukandu indicates that the arrest of the suspect at the Abuja and Nwagana Guest House, Umuhuali, Ishielu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, was as a result of credible intelligence and prompt investigation by operatives of the command.
It adds that the operatives carried out investigation following intelligence received which led to the arrest of two suspects. Upon interrogation two others were arrested and Five vehicles recovered.
He further notes that the rightful owners of the recovered vehicles, who had been victims of kidnapping, have identified their cars.
The statement restates that the Commissioner of Police, Ebonyi State Command, CP Adaku Uche-Anya, while reaffirming the Command’s unwavering commitment to rid the state of criminal elements, also enjoined members of the public to continue to provide timely information to the Police to aid its operations in the State.
