The wife of Anambra State Governor, Dr Nonye Soludo, has invited the assaulted female NYSC corps member in the state to the Government House for a meeting. The gesture is aimed at resolving the matter amicably while offering comfort and assurance to the victim.
Dr Soludo, who expressed concern over the unfortunate incident, stressed that no young Nigerian serving the nation should experience such trauma. She reassured the corps member of the state government’s full support and pledged that steps would be taken to ensure justice and prevent future occurrences.
The meeting, according to her office, is also intended to help the corps member heal emotionally and continue her national service without fear or intimidation.
