Governor Otti Felicitates With Obinna Oriaku and Other Appointees to the FCC From the South East

The Governor of Abia State, His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, has felicitated with the newly appointed Commissioner representing Abia State in the Federal Character Commission, Hon. Obinna Oriaku.

In his message of felicitation, Governor Otti thanked the President for the appointment and tasked Hon. Oriaku to see his appointment as an opportunity to offer selfless and people-oriented services to the nation.

According to the Governor “Since the body was established to ensure the implementation and enforcement of the Federal Character Principle of fairness and equity in the distribution of public positions and socio-economic opportunities among the various federating units of the Republic, it’s important that those who have been appointed in this commission are given the necessary support that would enable them make the desired impact in strengthening our democracy and engendering peace, unity and development in Nigeria”.

The Governor used the opportunity to congratulate other appointees from the South East viz: Mr. Peter Eze from Enugu, Hon. Jerry Alagbaoso from Imo, Hon. Nnoli Nkechi Gloria from Anambra and Barr. Nwokpor Vincent Nduka from Ebonyi state. He urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by their appointment.

Governor Otti assured that he will, at all times, render support to the appointees when and where necessary, with a view to ensuring that they succeed.
